BookBlogCon-2010-smaller.gifThe passionate book blogger community now has its very own convention. On Friday May 28th, 2010 in New York City, a team of blogosphere literati will launch the first annual Book Blogger Convention.

GalleyCat looks forward to seeing what sort of real-life community this convention can build between the virtual worlds of book bloggers. The event has a long list of inspiring organizers: Trish from Hey Lady! Whatcha Readin’?, Michelle from Galleysmith, Nicole from Linus’s Blanket, Pam from Mother Reader, Amy from My Friend Amy, Natasha from Maw Books, Jennifer from Literate Housewife, Rebecca from the Book Lady’s Blog, and Bonnie from A Working Title.

Here’s more about registration: “Registration is open from Monday, January 11, 2010 and closes on Friday, April 30, 2010. Early registration is open until Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 11:59pm PST. Early registration gives you a discount of $25, making the cost of the registration only $90. Registration after February 14, 2010 is $115. Registration must be paid in full and is non-refundable.
