Swedish publisher Bonnier Group has formed Bonnier Publishing USA.
The new imprint will combine Bonnier Publishing’s U.S.-based imprints Little Bee Books n New York and Weldon Owen US in San Francisco. Shimul Tolia, the former president of Little Bee Books has been named CEO and Roger Shaw, current president and publisher of Weldon Owen US, will lead Bonnier’s West Coast operations, reporting to Tolia.
As part of the expansion, the company will move offices in New York tripling its current space. Little Bee Books will relocate from 853 Broadway to 251 Park Avenue South. Weldon Owen will remain at its offices in San Francisco with marketing and PR staff in New York City.
