Bloomberg & Sierra Club Chairman to Write Book on Global Warming

By Dianna Dilworth

Former New York mayor Michael R. Bloomberg is collaborating on a new book with Carl Pope, former executive director and chairman of the Sierra Club.

St. Martin’s Press has acquired the world rights to Overheated: How Cooler Heads Can Cool the World.

The book will detail why climate change should matter to people. The book addresses how climate change is causing a series of “manageable problems that should be attacked from all angles,” and provides solutions to help combat the issue. The book will outline how doing so will help with practical problems like cutting down on asthma among children, can cut energy bills, and will increase the number of jobs in communities.

The book will drop on April 18, 2017.
