Billy Crudup has been cast in The Flash movie. He will play the father of Barry Allen (The Flash’s non-superhero alter ego).
Empire Magazine reports that Crudup joins a cast that already includes Ezra Miller in the titular role and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West. Rick Famuyiwa has signed on as the director for this project.
Here’s more from Variety: “Seth Grahame-Smith penned the script which is based on a treatment by Chris Miller and Phil Lord. Production is expected to start this year with the pic set to open on March 16, 2018. Plot details are being kept under wraps but Miller has already made a cameo as the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will also appear as the superhero in Justice League which opens next year.” (via The A.V.
