Barnes & Noble Continues to Host Maker Events

By Dianna Dilworth

Barnes & Noble and Make have extended their relationship another year.

After a successful partnership last year, Barnes & Noble and the Make organization will host a series of events together. This includes Make creating custom content for the bookseller, as well as offering exclusive Maker merchandise both in-store and online. The year-long effort will wrap up in November with the second annual retail Mini Maker Faire, an event designed to promote tech literacy.

In addition, Barnes & Noble will be the exclusive retailer of Make’s new littleBits STEAM Student Set. During National Educator’s Week (April 9-17), teachers can go into Barnes & Noble to get exclusive demos of these kits which are aimed at teaching kids about experimentation and invention.
