The art and craft media company Interweave has hired Allison Korleski as acquisitions editor for the newly created book division at the company.
Interweave already publishes more than 40 books a year, and Korleski will supervise all book acquisitions. For eight years, Korleski served as trade book buyer for Barnes and Noble.
Interweave VP Steve Koenig had this statement: “I’ve had the privilege of working with Allison in a number of roles over the past five years and she has been an intelligent and engaged business partner for Interweave. I can think of nobody in the industry better suited for this role…And yes, she is a fantastic knitter and crafter.”
