Archie Comics intends to publish a one-shot comic called Riverdale. This book will be published prior to the launch of The CW’s Riverdale television series.
The story for this comic will be written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the CCO of Archie Comics, and his team of TV show writers. Alitha Martinez has come on board to work on the illustrations.
Martinez will collaborate with Steve Downer to design the main cover art. Several guest artists have been recruited to create variant cover designs for this book.
