Anna Faris 200 (GalleyCat)Anna Faris has signed a deal with the Penguin Random House imprint, Dutton, for a memoir entitled Unqualified. She has become well-known as a Hollywood actress who has taken on roles in The House Bunny, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and The Dictator.

The book will be inspired by Faris’ advice podcast, “Anna Faris is Unqualified.” Chris Pratt, the star of two Guardians of the Galaxy movies and Faris’ husband, has agreed to write the book’s foreword. Jill Schwartzman, an executive editor, negotiated the deal with Marc Gerald of the United Talent Agency.

Faris gave this statement in the press release: “After years of telling people I don’t know what I’m talking about concerning a whole host of topics, it is deeply gratifying to learn that Dutton whole-heartedly agrees. I could not be more excited to get my stories – on love, relationships and courtship – to the people who not only buy books, but then actually read those books. Namaste.” (Photo CreditNino Munoz/Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.)
