Angus Killick has been named vice president and associate publisher of Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group. He will report to president Jon Yaged.
Prior to the move, Killick worked as the director of marketing and associate publisher at Kingfisher, a division of Pan Macmillan. He has also served in marketing executive positions at Disney Publishing Worldwide and Penguin Young Readers Group.
Killick gave this statement in the release: “I am excited to be joining the enormously talented team at MCPG, and look forward to working with the tremendous roster of authors and illustrators who publish with its family of imprints. This feels a completely natural move, especially given my strong affinity for Macmillan, which is such a unique and supportive environment. I see great things in our future.”
