Amazon’s Net Revenues Up 31% in Q2

Amazon.com’s net revenues were $30.4 billion during Q2 2016, up 31 percent over the comparable quarter last year when the company’s net revenues were $23.2 billion.

Today, the company reported its financial results for its second quarter which ended June 30, 2016. The e-commerce giant’s operating income was $1.3 billion in Q2 2016, as compared to $464 million Q2 2015. The firm’s net income was $857 million in the second quarter.

The company’s operating cash flow increased 42 percent to $12.7 billion for the trailing twelve months.
