Buying books over the holidays just got easier for Amazon Prime members in New York and Los Angeles. Amazon has partnered with the U.S. Postal Service to offer Sunday delivery.
The program is now available to Amazon Prime members in the Los Angeles and New York metropolitan areas. Amazon will extend this service to Prime members in Dallas, Houston, New Orleans and Phoenix, among other cities next year.
“If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can order a backpack for your child on Friday and be packing it for themSunday night,” stated Dave Clark, Amazon’s vice president of worldwide operations and customer service. “We’re excited that now every day is an Amazon delivery day and we know our Prime members, who voraciously shop onAmazon, will love the additional convenience they will experience as part of this new service.”
