Amazon Publishing Has Launched a Christian Imprint

waterpressAmazon Publishing has introduced a new imprint that will specialize in Christian books called Waterfall Press. The imprint will join Amazon’s growing network of imprints which includes: 47North, AmazonCrossing, AmazonEncore, Amazon Publishing, Grand Harbor Press, Jet City Comics, Kindle Worlds, Lake Union, Little A, Montlake Romance, Skyscape, StoryFront, Thomas & Mercer, and Two Lions.

The imprint will publish both nonfiction and fiction titles that appeal to Christian readers. This will include romance, mystery and suspense books. Tammy Faxel, a Christian publishing industry veteran, will oversee the editorial for the imprint. Mark Buchanan’s The Four Best Places to Live, the first title on the imprint, will publish next month.

Brilliance Publishing, an Amazon company that currently publishes self-help and personal growth books under the Grand Harbor Press imprint, will publish Waterfall Press titles. “Brilliance has over 12 years of experience serving the Christian market as audiobook publisher of some of the most successful Christian authors writing today,” stated Mark Pereira, President and Publisher of Brilliance Publishing. “We are excited to expand our offering to readers of faith-based material by publishing original Christian content with enduring appeal.”
