Amazon and Macmillan Drama Continues; Comedy Writers Take Notice

onionlogo23.pngThis weekend, Amazon (AMZN) promised to “ultimately” accept the higher eBook pricing scale suggested by Macmillan CEO John Sargent. “Ultimately” is vague term.

As of this 6:23 p.m. EST writing, the online bookseller had not reactivated many of the buttons that allow customers to buy Macmillan books directly from Amazon. However, at an ABA program today, the publisher received a standing ovation for its efforts.
