Aimee Nezhukumatathil Named Poetry Editor of Orion

Award-winning poet Aimee Nezhukumatathil has been named poetry editor of Orion, a bimonthly magazine dedicated to art and literature that explore the connection between nature and culture.

The recipient of the Pushcart Prize and an NEA fellowship in poetry, Nezhukumatathil has published three poetry collections. Her work has also been published in a number of publications including: Orion, Tin House, Poetry, American Poetry Review and the Best American Poetry.

Nezhukumatathil is professor of English and the recipient of a Chancellor’s Medal at The State University of New York at Fredonia where she teaches creative writing and environmental literature. She has also won the 2016-2017 Grisham Writer-in-Residence at the University of Mississippi, where she will write and teach.
