Sony to Adapt Breaking Sky Novel as Film

Sony Pictures has acquired the film rights to the forthcoming YA novel Breaking Sky by Cori McCarthy, which comes out this month. 

The thriller is set in 2048 and focuses on a team of teen Air Force pilots. The book has already racked up four stars on Goodreads. You can check out the book trailer here.

Jason Dravi, a co-agent on the movie deal, also sold film rights film rights for The Hunger Games. Barry Josephson, from the TV series Bones, will serve as a producer on the project.
