The 2015 Man Booker Prize has been awarded to Marlon James for his novel, A Brief History of Seven Killings. James will receive £50,000 for this accomplishment.
The New York Times reports that James is the first Jamaican writer to win this award. Follow this link to check out the list of finalists.
