Former publisher Judith Regan’s $100 million defamation lawsuit against HarperCollins and News Corporation settled for $10.75 million, the NY Observer reported.
That settlement was revealed as part of another legal proceeding. Earlier this year, Regan’s former attorneys sued her for firing them before the settlement was “finalized.” Bloomberg uncovered the scoop while looking through court filings from that case.
