Your Subscription Has Run Out

We got a call over the weekend from a telemarketer letting us know about the great deal they could give us when we subscribe to the LA Times.

We told the caller that we already read it everyday – online. You could hear a little, barely audible grunt before they hung up.

There seems to be a trend to read newspapers on the internet – we’ve noticed. Ahem. In fact, most of the scribes we talk to don’t subscribe to their own papers let alone other’s.

It starts at home, people.
