According to a new infographic, the average worker spends 13 hours a week just reading and sending emails.
And at some companies, the number of useful emails the average employee receives is about 10 percent of the total email volume (the rest were irrelevant or spam).
The solution, some say, is to ban email. It certainly would mean you’d get a lot of non-email things done, but we’re not sure it’s the answer.
Our personal suggestion: Inbox Zero. Don’t waste time with filters, folders, and other useless sorting. Read, respond, and delete.
But what works for you?
The infographic, btw, is available after the jump.
