Yankees Beat Twins And Make Cable History In ALDS Game One


Yankee fans weren’t the only people smiling after the Bronx Bombers come-from-behind win over the Twins in Wednesday’s game one of the American League Divisional Series.  TBS executives were thrilled to hear the game drew 6.91 million viewers to their network in what was the most-watched opening game of a Division Series in cable history.

According to Mediaweek, The New York-Minnesota primetime duel scored a 13.2 HH rating in New York and outperformed last postseason’s ALDS Twins-Yankees game one by 5 percent.
