Yankees ALCS Losses Are Ratings Winners

As the Yankees were failing to reach the World Series, the American League Championship Series against the Texas Rangers drew big numbers in New York.

The concluding game six on TBS had the highest ratings for the week, according to the Nielsen Company. The game had 2.1 viewers and a 10.6 rating.

Game three and four, also Yankee losses, were second and third best. The games combined for 3.3 million viewers.

Sunday Night Football, featuring Brett Favre annual return to Lambeau Field, kept people’s attention.
