Yahoo! Most Visited Website for First Time in Two Years
Laugh all you want at Marissa Mayer and her upsidedown lounge chair moves. Judge people who still have Yahoo! email addresses. But at least in terms of Internet traffic, Mayer’s takeover of Yahoo is making a difference. According to Adweek, in July, Yahoo! was the most visited website for the first time since 2011.
Comscore’s stats say that Yahoo! had about 197 million unique visitors in July, better than Google (192 million), Microsoft (180 million) and Facebook (142 million).
