Yahoo! Hires Movieline Columnist Mark Lisanti
Yahoo! has added Movieline.com columnist and Defamer founding editor Mark Lisanti to its ever-growing roster of newsmongers, The Business Insider reports. He will be deputy editor of the portal’s forthcoming entertainment blogs under entertainment blogs editor Courtney Reimer.
Yahoo! has lately been on a hiring tear as part of its effort to revamp the site’s original content. It’s lately picked up such notables as former Politico media reporter Michael Calderone, The Awl contributor and Bookforum editor Chris Lehmann, investigative reporter John Cook (ex-Gawker) and another Gawker alum, “Cajun Boy” Brett Michael Dykes.
