WPIX Promotes Saul Adams to News at Ten Executive Producer
WPIX/Channel 11 is elevating Saul Adams to executive producer of the station’s News at Ten.
Adams, with Channel 11 since 2003, was most recently senior producer for the weeknight 10 p.m. newscast. He was part of the creative team that launched the broadcast’s groundbreaking new format last year.
“Saul has proven himself as an innovative producer, and our late news will continue to grow with his leadership,” said Bill Carey, WPIX news director.
In 2008, Adams won an Emmy Award for WPIX’s coverage of the New York City steam pipe explosion.
Adams, born and raised in New York City, earned a bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College where he majored in Sociology.
