WNYW Drops 9/11 Memorial Coverage for NFL, While WCBS Stays 'Overtime'

Ceremonies took place at ground zero yesterday, marking ten years since the horrific 9/11 attacks.

The day featured the traditional reading of the victim’s names, and six moments of silence marking the four plane crashes and when the Twin Towers collapsed.

But the special event included brief remarks interspersed with remarks from many dignitaries, including President Obama and former President George W. Bush.
