Wired Inches Closer to Launching Massive Social Networking Platform

In May, Wired‘s editor-in-chief Chris Anderson mentioned a social networking, um, network the magazine was developing. Due to lawyer-related constraints, he couldn’t go beyond a brief announcement, choosing instead to wax philosophically about aerial robotics.

It appears as though we’re getting closer to the platform becoming a reality. Folio:‘s Jason Fell reports that Anderson’s magazine launched niche SN site Wired Biz on August 1.
