We’d like to extend a warm, non-threatening welcome to the newest addition to the mediabistro.com blogger family, former Gawker.com editor Emily Gould. While you may know her from, oh, this and that [ED. NOTE: Never let it be said that we hold a grudge.], these days we think of her as a writer who can make us care about the delayed gratification factory that is book publishing, where you write something and don’t get to witness people consuming or responding to it until approximately 18 months later.
