WCBS 880 Traffic Reporter Tom Kaminski Honored By Alma Mater
It was a special day for WCBS 880’s veteran man in the chopper, Tom Kaminski. No, it wasn’t an easy getaway on the roads.
Kaminski was named the Allen B. Dumont Broadcaster of the Year from his alma mater, Montclair State University. As Kaminski wrote on his Facebook page, his boss, WCBS news director Tim Scheld and longtime reporter Rich Lamb were attendance, along with Tim’s wife Lyn and son JT.
Past winners include WWOR/Channel 9 anchor Brenda Blackmon, WABC/Channel 7 reporter N.J.
