WBLS and Hot 97 Finalists for NAB Crystal Award
The National Association of Broadcasters has been handing out trophies since 1987 for radio stations with outstanding commitment to community service. Among the 50 nationalwide finalists are WBLS and WQHT/Hot 97.
Skip Dillard, WBLS operations manager says just being a finalist is a very pleasant surprise.
“This is a hard one to get nominated for, much less win so we’re excited about the possibility of taking one home!” Dillard tells FishbowlNY. “There’s still something to be said with being nominated by your industry peers! This would be our first Crystal Award, so it’s one we really have our fingers crossed on!”
