Was The Missing Google 'O' Just A Nerd Joke?

On Saturday, Google replaced its logo with a new image. No big deal, right? The company uses commemorative “doodles” all the time to celebrate events.

This doodle, though, didn’t seem to refer to anything obvious. Clicking it brought users to a page for the search term “unexplained phenomenon.”

After sending the Internet into a tizzy trying to figure out whether Google had inadvertently made contact with ETs, the search engine company Tweeted some numbers which turned out to decode to “All Your O Are Belong To Us.”

Mystery solved, declared
