Vuitton and Martin: Making the Expensive More Expensiver

To close out the day for this writer, here’s a weird little bit of weird that we somehow missed the other day. French fashion/luxury goods company, LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA, which also has the most obnoxiously and pointlessly long name ever, took the car company Aston Martin off the hands of Ford last week. What will they do with it? That’s anybody’s guess at the moment, but we’re thinking it will somehow involve increasing the price of new Aston Martins just slightly above the reach of we UnBeige editors, meaning we’ll be stuck in our matching 2005 models for yet another year (sorry Alissa).
