Vogue Communications Director Patrick O'Connell Leaves the Magazine

Women’s Wear Daily reports that Patrick O’Connell is leaving his post as director of communications at Vogue after 12 years on the job. He will stay on until the magazine finds a replacement.

Over the years, O’Connell oversaw communications for both the magazine and its editor, the imposing Anna Wintour. He played a role in facilitating Wintour’s participation in the Wintour documentary The September Issue, among many other things.

O’Connell plans to stay in communications but switch over to community affairs, development and philanthropy, says WWD.
