Still No Leads in Hit and Run Death of LA Casting Director

There is now a $50,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the driver who hit and killed 48-year-old video game casting director Brigitte Burdine in the early morning hours of December 29th on Culver Blvd. in west Los Angeles.

Last week, City Councilman Bill Rosendahl announced plans to install, on a trial basis, a “speed feedback” sign at the intersection of Culver and Vista del Mar. By beaming back to drivers the speed at which they are traveling, it is hoped that traffic on this notoriously dangerous stretch of the east-west thoroughfare (officially designated a secondary highway) can be slowed down.
