Vice Media is expanding its digital offerings with the launch of Waypoint, a vertical dedicated to gaming.
Waypoint will launch Monday, October 31. Austin Walker will serve as its editor in chief.
Vice is hyping Waypoint’s launch with a 72-hour gaming live stream on Twitch. The special—featuring gamers, celebrities and others playing 72 games for three straight days—will kick off today at 12 ET.
If you ask us, watching people play video games sounds more like a punishment than an enjoyable experience, but hey, to each their own.
