Veteran West Coast Radio Sports Reporter Joins WINS

As we reported recently, Sid Rosenberg took over morning sportscasts earlier this month on all-news juggernaut 1010 WINS. His daily shift is from 6 to 10 a.m.

Beginning on January 4, Bob Harvey started doing the updates preceding Rosenberg at 5:15 and 5:45 a.m.

Harvey is a longtime Southern California sports anchor, having worked at KFWB for the past 26 years.

WINS news director Ben Mevorach tells FishbowlNY that Harvey, who is being paid by Shadow Broadcasting Services, does the WINS reports from Los Angeles.

“Using him allows us to have the final scores when our teams are out on the west coast,” Mevorach says.
