Veteran Consumer Reporter Asa Aarons Joins WCBS/Channel 2
Consumer reporter Asa Aarons, most familiar to viewers for his 15-years at WNBC, has joined WCBS/Channel 2.
A station spokesman confirms to FishbowlNY that Aarons starts at Channel 2 on Thursday. His first reports are likely to be seen next week.
Aarons knows where his focus will lie.
“All the scams that used to be done via mail or even on the street have now moved to the Internet,” Aarons tells FishbowlNY. “I’ll be showing consumers how to make the technology work for [them], rather than against them.”
