That’s what architect Noushin Ehsan provides through her new business, 2nd Opinion Design, a New York-based consulting firm that promises to bring existing design projects a fresh perspective, “with a special emphasis on functionality and profitability.” After lecturing recently on “The Spirit of Space” to a standing-room-only crowd at the National Arts Club, Eshan discussed her new venture. “I’m just trying to be a second set of eyes,” she said. “I stay behind the scenes and give my opinion–helping the designer or the clients or whoever wants me to.”
