United Nations Correspondents Association Recognizes Outstanding International Reporting
This year's UNCA gala was held Dec. 14 at 55 Cipriani.
As is the case each year, the list of winners honored this month by the United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA) is impressive.
Benedict Moran, formerly a full-time U.N. producer for Al Jazeera English, won The Elizabeth Neuffer Memorial Prize for his report on the confict in the Central African Republic.
Romanian TV reporter Marian Voicu and Spanish broadcast journalist Angela Rodicio shared the Ricardo Ortega Memorial Prize. Voicu was cited for his look at the crisis in Syria, while Rodicio earned recognition for her look at an exodus of Colombian refugees.
