UK Fights Thievery With Design Comission

We’re not entirely sure how this will be done short of introducing MagnaVolt, but the government in the UK have put together a group called The Design and Technology Alliance, which will try and push companies into introducing more theft deterrents within their product design, largely focusing on cars and cell phones. And strangely enough, the group isn’t comprised solely of heads of security firms or the like, but rather a semi-diverse bunch, including members of the Royal College of Art and Sebastian Conran of design firm Conran & Partners.
