Twitter Engineer Leaves To Start 'Bank That Doesn't Suck,' Seeks Marketing Intern
Twitter engineer Alex Payne is leaving the company to co-found BankSimple, a bank “that doesn’t suck,” in his words.
It’s a whole new kind of thing, the founders claim. Not much information is available on BankSimple‘s site yet, but they plan to launch later this year.
Right now they’re hiring a marketing intern to work for eight weeks on market research and figuring out how to tailor their product to whoever needs this.
Presumably if all goes well they’ll be hiring a paid person later this year.
