Tina Brown's Diana: A 'Saran-Wrapped Virgin'

Approaching the Strand’s reading and discussion for Tina Brown’s new novel, The Diana Chronicles, we weren’t sure exactly what to expect from the former magazine New Yorker editor, who has been described as a vulgarian and a genius, often in the same breath.

Luckily, she was both: throughout the talk Brown was witty, candid and frequently sent the audience into small fits of laughter. Moderator Warren Hodge was easily overpowered, but that’s not to say he didn’t try.
