Time Out Beijing Given a Time Out Ahead of Olympics

The Chinese Government, always so convincing in its support of the press, has reportedly banned the publication of Time Out Beiijing ahead of the Olympic Games.

Officially the June issue was kept from shelves due to the fact the publishers lacked the require printing permit (the same excuse the Government used when they banned Rolling Stone a few years back), but Editor Tom Pattinson isn’t buying it, saying the timing is suspicious. No word on what censors may have found offensive in a magazine that focuses on listings — bad dating advice, maybe?
