Time Magazine Fellowship Provided Journalism Student With 'So Many Highlights'

Lauren French spent three weeks at the publication's New York offices.

StephenKoeppLinkedInThe first recipient of the Koepp Fellowship at Time magazine is in the books. And by all accounts, Lauren French, a journalism student chosen from Koepp’s Alma Mater the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, was a hit.

French spent three weeks in New York this past January, staying with the Koepp family. From a report this past weekend by the school’s news bureau connected to Stephen Koepp’s visit to campus last Thursday and Friday:

French’s experiences varied from helping do research for an Academy Awards diversity project to meeting with Time’s social media team to discussing ways to improve UW-Eau Claire’s student newspaper’s social media presence.
