Frequent visitors to Time.com may already have noticed that the page looks a bit different this morning. That’s because the magazine has officially relaunched their website today. FBNY stopped by the Time offices last week to get a quick preview of the site — did you know that Time‘s archives, dating all the way back to 1923, are available online?! Us either.
Whilst at the offices FBNY chatted with Time.com’s website maestros John Cantarella and Josh Tyrangiel who told us one of their goals was to make the website more clearly reflect the layout of the magazine, as well as increase flexibility for the user. In case you weren’t already aware the site offers podcasts, and video (who doesn’t want to watch Joel Stein drink) and, like we said, archives!
Time has enjoyed increasing success with its website since its last relaunch in January of 2007: Their average monthly uniques are at 5.56 million for 2008, a 34% increase over 2007. And average monthly pageviews at 80.71 million for 2008 up 44 percent from 2007.
