The Tweet That Got A Social Media Firm Fired


Should be ’nuff said. Not only did New Media Strategies, the social media firm that was managing Chrysler’s Twitter account, fire the employee responsible for this tweet, but Chrysler has since fired Nwe Media Strategies, Jalopnik reports. While we (not so secretly) find the tweet pretty hilarious, Chrysler did the only thing it could. Even NMS agrees: in a blog post, CEO Pete Snyder wrote that while the tweet doesn’t “accurately reflect the overall high-quality work we have produced for Chrysler,” “we respect their decision.”
