"The Takeaway" Names New Exec Producer As Host Is Named To Presidential Committee
Today, public radio morning drive show “The Takeaway” appointed a new executive producer: MSNBC’s former VP of daytime programming Mark Effron.
“The Takeaway” is a jointly produced by New York public radio station WNYC and Public Radio International. Earlier this year, the show lost co-host Adaora Udoji who departed to spend more time with her family.
Effron, a journalist and TV and digital media exec, joins “The Takeaway” from Titan TV Media, a digital network where he served as president and COO.
