The New Yorker Covers the 'Red Death' on Wall St.

We’re a bit late to this, but then again, there was no mail yesterday. Anyway, if someone were to make a time capsule of this stranger-than-fiction election year they would do well to include the New Yorker‘s covers along with SNL‘s Tina Fey, Sarah Palin impressions.

This week’s doesn’t speak to the election specifically but it certainly speaks to the times. Titled ‘Red Death This Week,’ it is an allusion to Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Masque of the Red Death” and it’s actually a little disturbing.
