The New York Times Changes Real Estate Deputy Editor

According to the Commercial Observer, Vivian Toy is succeeding Peter Sigal as the New York Times’ deptuty editor, Sunday Real Estate. Sigal had been editing the section for the past two years and is departing to take a spot at the Herald Tribune in Paris.

Toy is a 17 year veteran of The New York Times. She has been covering real estate for the paper since 2006. Prior to Toy’s work at the Times, she was a reporter for the Detroit News for eight years.
