The Forward Appoints Barry S. Surman Associate Publisher
The Forward has named Barry S. Surman as its new associate publisher. Surman will be responsible for growing both The Forward‘s print and digital revenues, including its English- and Yiddish-language offerings.
Surman is the co-founder of Eye Multimedia LLC, a multimedia startup, and has served as a consultant at various companies. He has also w0rked at the New York Daily News, serving as vice president of new business and strategic development, and vice president for classified advertising.
