The Breakdown Of Pink Friday
Today is Pink Friday, a statewide protest of the approximately 26,000 pink slips being sent to California teachers warning of layoffs. Protesters across the state are wearing pink and marching in rallies in opposition of the cuts. We support them- yay teachers!- but we’re a little confused about the specifics. Joseph Mailander of local blog street-hassle explains why:
